The Society is active in the following conferences:


SciX 2017 (formerly the Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Societies (FACSS) conference):

  • The 2017 Lippincott Award will be presented to Professor Roberto Merlin of the University of Michigan.  Please join us for the award presentation and Plenary Lecture “Vibrational Engineering: From Superlattices to Coherent and Squeezed Phonons” Monday October 9 at 8:30 am in the Tahoe Ballroom The Lippincott Award Symposium honoring Professor Merlin will follow at 1:30 pm in Crystal 1. 
  • The Society’s Craver Award for Applied Vibrational Spectroscopy is being presented to Professor Martin Zanni of the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  Please join us Tuesday October 10 at 8:30 am in the Tahoe Ballroom for the award presentation and Plenary Lecture “The Technology Behind Coherent 2D IR Spectroscopy and its Application to Amyloid Diseases”The Craver Award Symposium honoring Professor Zanni will follow at 1:30 pm in Crystal 1. 

  • Student Awards and the William G. Fateley Award will be presented Sunday October 8 during the Welcome Mixer and Student Poster Session held 7:15-9:15 pm in the Reno Ballroom.
